The Veterans Health Administration, Office of Information, awarded a single contract for enterprise information architecture services to KT Consulting, Inc. The contract has a nine-month Performance Period.

KTC will provide enterprise architecture services to build a Learning Management System (LMS) meeting the SCORM standards. The Sharable Content Object Reference Model is a collection of standards and specifications adapted from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive suite of e-learning capabilities that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of Web-based learning content.

The VA is committed to an enterprise-approach to delivering patient education and learning to veterans around the world. While KTC and their subcontractor Xerceo are architecting the LMS, other contractors are developing the actual content.

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), the largest integrated health care provider in the nation. Their Office of Information manages information resources planning, policy, software development, customer support, technical assessments, and acquisitions that support the VHA. The systems under its purview include the Veterans Health Information and Technology Architecture (VISTA), Decision Support System (DSS), telecommunications, national data registries, and library, audiovisual, and satellite TV programs.
