KTC Awarded NOAA Permitting Services Contract

The US Dept of Commerce, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), awarded a contract for Permitting Services to KT Consulting, Inc. The $500k contract has a one-year Performance Period.
KTC will provide permitting services to the Office of Protected Resources at NOAA HQ in Silver Spring, MD. Permits are issued pursuant to the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act; NOAA requires the services of professional biologists and fisheries experts to analyze the impacts of the proposed actions requiring permits. The proposed permits and comments can be tracked through the Federal Register.
The Office of Protected Resources is a headquarters program office of the National Marine Fisheries Service and is the lead Federal office in protecting marine mammals and endangered marine life.
